The School Boy
Although he was a star on Santa Monica High School’s baseball team, the young Charlie wasn’t an especially distinguished student. However, it was during his school days that he developed an interest in filmmaking. He made amateur films starring his school friends, who by the way included Rob Lowe and Sean Penn.
Pursuing Acting
After leaving school, Charlie took a stab at an acting career just like his father Martin and brother Emilio. Charlie began his screen career in 1984 in the Cold War thriller Red Dawn. He got his big break in 1986 when he was cast as the soldier Chris in Oliver Stone’s Oscar-winning movie , Platoon.
After establishing himself as a solid dramatic actor in another Stone movie, Wall Street, Charlie showed his flair for comedy in the 1989 hit Major League – where he also showed off his pitching arm, and in the military film satire Hot Shots.
Acting Awards
Charlie slowly rose to fame, displaying a knack for action, comedy, and dramatic roles. He was cast in the leading role of the popular situation comedy Spin City and in 2003, he signed for an ongoing role in the popular TV comedy Two and a Half Men. It was his role here that got him well-deserved nominations in the Emmy and Golden Globe awards as a comedy actor. Today, Charlie’s awards include:
2007-2009 Emmy: Nominee, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series
2006 Emmy: Nominee, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series
2006 Golden Globe: Nominee, Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy
2005 Golden Globe: Nominee, Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy
2002 Golden Globe: Winner, Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy

You’ve got to hand it to Charlie Sheen. Is it in the clothes? The way he looks? The way he makes people laugh out loud on television every week?
Whatever it is he’s got under his Charlie Sheen Signature Line shirt sleeves, the real question here is: Is it any wonder that primetime TV’s highest paid leading man is something of a lady killer too?
Rumors and unverified sources both online and in other forms of media have listed Charlie Sheen as the second greatest sex legend alive today. This follows a report from Maxim magazine that Sheen, throughout his 43 years of life on Earth, has been able to charm his way to the hearts (and more) of possibly thousands of women all around the world.
These stories rank Sheen in the top 10 of the world’s “Greatest Living Sex Legends.” This list features some of the world’s most prolific personalities, including KISS lead vocalist Gene Simmons, NBA superstar and icon Magic Johnson, singer Julio Iglesias, Engelbert Humperdink, Jack Nicholson and more.
Which parts of the story are really true remains to be seen – these reports surfaced during the time of his messy divorce with ex-wife Denise Richards, and may have been part of a campaign to defame Mr. Sheen. The fact that does prevail, though, is that despite all reports otherwise, Sheen is still not the greatest all-time king of the dirty dance. That claim to fame belongs to the late NBA Los Angeles Lakers super center Wilt Chamberlain, whose record stood at over 20,000, well more than the number the average human male can ever hope to reach in a lifetime.
Sheen, on the other hand, does have a certain air about him that a confidence that beats out other men easily. Perhaps it comes with the total package: Wealth, looks, fame, an engaging personality and a fine dress sense.
We can’t have it all, but we can try getting some of that magic for ourselves – the clothes he wears, for instance! Visit CharlieSheenShirtSite.com to get your hands on the very same smartly casual vintage bowling shirt-styled button-downs he wears on his hit sitcom and show the world that you can be just as cool, collected and style-savvy as Charlie himself.
