Superstar Charlie as a Daddy

The Two and a Half Men star had no qualms opening up about his newborn baby boys with Brooke Mueller, Bob and Max. He described being a parent to his twin boys as: “Pretty amazing…not a whole lot of sleep, but what parent does at this stage? There’s adrenaline, excitement, fear.”
The proud papa gushes when asked about his boys and loves their names! Apparently, Charlie likes names that are very short and simple, and easy to spell and remember. In fact, he says he’s a fan of short and simple names. Indeed, even his daughters with ex-wife Denise Richards are named Sam, 4 and Lola, 3 – pretty short and sweet. The only long name he’s ever given is to his daughter with ex-girlfriend Paula Profitt, with whom he had Cassandra, now 23.
Holland Taylor who plays Charlie Sheen’s mother on Two And A Half Men, sounds awfully maternal when it comes to his real-life situation. Taylor says Charlie is really enjoying fatherhood, and that it has “really deepened his life and his commitment to life.”
Before twins Max and Bob were born, Taylor was asked how she thinks Sheen would fare with a baby boy. The lovely mother had many good things to say about Charlie being a wonderful daddy, and that it will be interesting to see him with a boy this time. Taylor believed it will bring out a whole other side of him – and with the way things are going now with the twin boys, she may just be right.
Now, as a beaming daddy to the twins, Charlie also has his own opinion of what the hardest part of parenting the duo will be. But with the boys doing just great and mommy Brooke looking fabulous, Charlie couldn’t be happier with the path he has taken.
