Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps has already started production. Just recently, Michael Douglas and Shia LaBeouf were spotted at the Central Park zoo. No, not checking out the chimps and zebras, but filming on set of the much anticipated sequel to Wall Street. The original starred Charlie Sheen as Bud Fox, a budding stockbroker who was more than willing to get out of his moral boundaries just to make it big in the stock trading arena. Wall Street 2 will hit the theatres sometime next year, and is expected to have Charlie Sheen comeback on a cameo appearance to reprise his role.
Okay, now that we know Wall Street 2 is currently in production, and Charlie Sheen is appearing on a cameo, fans wonder which else among his previous hit films will have a sequel? Previously, talks about Charlie Sheen’s departure from WME stirred some speculations that he could take on a directorial role and do another Hot Shots film.
Well, Sheen is indeed a hot shot now that he has been named as the highest earning TV actor. Being the highest paid dude in the lot gives one huge leeway to do pretty much anything he wants to do.

Seriously, though, now that talks about Sheen leaving Two and a Half Men are playing quite prominently in the showbiz world, what would fans want Sheen to do next? Have him do the next Platoon, but this time take the story to Afghanistan or Iraq? Or perhaps he could do a sequel to Major League, but this time while bringing in some of today’s hottest young actors. Well, Sheen would obviously stay away from any more Scary Movie instalments, the last two of which he appeared in.

Who knows? Sheen could be up to something that would hit all of us with a bang right after Wall Street 2. You know the dude. He’s full of surprises.

Yes, we’re talking about ladies man Charlie Sheen, the actor who kept us all entertained as a soldier in Platoon, a young broker in Wall Street and the not-so-young, confused guy from Spin City.

His exploits from his younger days are the stuff of legends, but we think that it was the reality show Two and a Half Men that put him over the top. Yes, just like his character Charlie Harper, Charlie Sheen is, in real life, a lady magnet. Congrats Charlie, you’re the man.

In fact, if you aren’t that impressed yet, guess what he courageously revealed about himself? He has slept with 5,000 women! Know anyone who can beat that? In fact, our man Charlie landed in Maxim magazine’s Top 10 ‘Living Sex Legends’ list. Need we say more? But hey, the men’s magazine claims that lowly Venetian hotel porter Umberto Billo has charmed 8,000 women to his bed. When he’s not carrying luggage, guess what he’s doing?

Charlie has established himself as an actor, and his screen conquests are what matters to us, much more than his bed conquests. The son of actor Martin Sheen of Apocalypse Now fame, Charlie, a Virgo, has reportedly cleaned up his bad boy/playboy image after ending his marriage with former Bond Girl Denise Richards, an Aquarius.

Now that he’s married to Brooke Mueller, and has recently had twin boys named Max and Bob, Charlie is now more focused on being a daddy and loving husband to Brooke. Now the father of five (he has two daughters with ex-wife Denise Richards and a 23-year-old daughter from a previous relationship), Charlie seems to finally want to settle down and spend quality time with his family.

Don’t you just love it when your favorite actor doesn’t only leave good talent as their indelible legacy, but also some words of wisdom for us to ponder every once in a while? Our main man Charlie Sheen has a lot going on in his career these days, even challenging the President to bring out the “truth” on 9-11. He’s also got a lot of stuff going on in his head, and he’s got no second thoughts in saying them out loud.
Below are some of the most memorable Charlie Sheen quotes:

“I’m more interested in what I can do next than what I did last.”
-	Charlie Sheen

“As kids we’re not taught how to deal with success; we’re taught how to deal with failure. If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. If at first you succeed, then what?”
-	Charlie Sheen

“Oh, that. I just do that for the extra money, and to satisfy my male need to kill and win.”
-	Charlie Sheen

“Fame is empowering. My mistake was that I thought I would instinctively know how to handle it. But there’s no manual, no training course.”
-	Charlie Sheen

“Life all comes down to a few moments. This is one of them.”
-	Charlie Sheen

“The Mars research has advanced my life in no capacity. How has it helped your life? Looks like Arizona, tastes like chicken. Billions of dollars. I think we should just blow it up and sniff it as it drifts past.”
-	Charlie Sheen

“Usually in a battle sequence when a bomb is going off, you forget you’re acting.”
-	Charlie Sheen

“Those of us who did make it have an obligation to build again, to teach others what we know, and to try with what’s left of our lives to find a goodness and meaning to this life.”
-	Charlie Sheen

More than just a comic, Charlie Sheen has proven to be one of today’s most daring and gutsiest celebrities in the lot.
You know what we’re talking about; it’s the recent stunt that Charlie Sheen pulled off when he supposedly had a 20-minute sit down with the world’s most powerful man.

For several weeks since it was first reported around the first week of September, Sheen’s fictional 20-minute conversation with the US President played out in the news quite prominently. Although the matter has been widely accepted as fictional, the transcript of the “conversation” reflects the true sentiments of Sheen concerning the controversies that surround 9/11.

In the fictional meeting with the President, Sheen argues that the official story on 9/11 is a fraud, alleging that the event was perpetrated and covered up by the Bush administration as a prelude to justify the war and the subsequent invasion of Iraq. He even hinted that Osama bin Laden used to work with the US government until the fateful day of 9/11.
Sheen implored Obama to re-open the investigation on the 9/11 attack as he believes the original commission set up to investigate the event was a whitewash.

Since this controversy that Sheen has gotten himself into exploded, critics and fans hoped he would ease up on the issue as it is now taking a toll on his credibility. Even his ex-wife Denise Richards jumped in on the controversy to prove her allegations that Sheen is delusional.

Despite all this, you still have to give it to Sheen. Who else was bold enough to even conjure up a fictional face-to-face with the President to challenge the long-held “truth” about the 9/11 reports? It takes pure guts to stand up for what he believes is the truth, even if nothing substantial can come out of it.

Charlie Sheen is raking in a staggering $875,000 per episode from the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men. But despite becoming the highest paid TV actor, ironically, he is asking his agents, his lawyers and his managers to cut commissions. Sheen is probably setting up a safety net in case he takes a break (forced or otherwise) for a while.
But who’s worried about Sheen not being handled by a representation agency? I don’t think even Sheen is anxious about this development. An independent Charlie Sheen would be viewed by any sane agency as a license to print free money, being one of today’s most prized entertainers. Any entertainment agency will be more than happy to take him in, and would work to come up with a satisfactory deal. Of course, that deal could be much more lucrative than his previous contract. In fact, rumor has it that Sheen could be signing up with CAA in the next couple of weeks. Who knows? Again, that wouldn’t come as a surprise.

With a hit show and studios that find Sheen an indispensable partner who can bring in hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue, it’s quite possible to take an agent out of the picture temporarily. Sheen’s a smart guy. We bet he could handle any deal single-handedly and get himself back on track before we know it.

Others are thinking that Sheen’s move could put him back on the big screen, probably land him a directorial deal and have him do another Hot Shots film. We’re not really sure where all this will lead to.

Let’s stick around and see if Sheen is going to hit the road for a while, or sign up for another contract with another agency and still see him on Two and a Half Men as if nothing ever happened.

As a jingle-writing bachelor living in Malibu, Charlie (the character) is always in cool, casual attire. The show’s costume designer puts him in these comfy clothes to reflect his character – laidback and free-spirited. In fact, Charlie has become a virtual catalog for the Hollywood trend of retro fashion. Two-toned, short-sleeved bowling shirts and cabana wear over khaki shorts all scream cool comfort, and Charlie carries the look pretty well.

Truth be told, we don’t think anyone else can pull off the look as effortlessly as Charlie. He seems most comfortable in camp shirts, which are basically bowling shirts. His look is perfect for his character, who lives in a Southern California beach community.

Where To Get Them

So now the question is, where can you find these cool shirts? Well, you can order them at Charlie Harper Shirts. The line is a private label, and they are not available anywhere in retail stores.

If you want more options, you can try Nat Nast, which can be found in department stores like Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue. Charlie has actually worn some of his shirts from Nat Nast on the show, but there are other stores you can check out as well. Try Daddy-O, Swing Masters and Lounge Masters, all of which have contrasting collars and vertical front panels against a standard background. Most of the fabric is 100 percent silk, in retro patterns and color combinations that incorporate details of the classic ’50s bowling shirts.

So now that you’ve got the shirt, wear it well. The look works best when the untucked shirt is paired with slacks, although Charlie wears them with shorts (and looks good in them). Talk about style and comfort all rolled into one!

Rumor has it that Charlie Sheen may leave the show soon. At the recent Emmys, he reportedly told Extra that he is in the final year of his current contract and it could be the end of the show for him. If he does quit, Charlie looks forward to a life outside of show business, spending time with his wife and his children. His last words were “maybe it’s up to CBS and Warner Bros.”
Two and a Half Men first aired on CBS in September of 2003. It soon garnered much critical acclaim, and has since become the number one comedy show in the U.S. It was nominated for 30 primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globes. The show also won the Favorite TV Comedy award at the 35th People’s Choice Awards. According to TV Guide, our man Charlie makes a whopping $875,000 per episode, making him TV’s highest paid primetime star!
If you have not been following Charlie’s hit TV show, it’s a dramatic comedy about men and women, dating, divorce, terrible mothers, sibling relationships, and of course, sex and love. Charlie may play a rich, hedonistic bachelor, but nevertheless, we love his character. His free-wheeling life is interrupted by his uptight brother and his son, Jake, who move in with him. Enter Evelyn, their narcissistic and toxic mother who decides to spend more time with her boys. Despite his complicated new life, they all make a nice family that brings a lot of laughs to viewers everywhere.

If Charlie does go, we will miss him and those shirts he made famous. But then again, he is pretty well-set, and he’s free to decide whether he stays or goes. With his successful career and new family, he can pretty much relax and focus on family time. We can only wish him well.

Ever wonder what makes Charlie Sheen who he is? We know quite a great deal about the guy already, thanks to the tons of great movies Sheen has brought us in movie theaters and on TV. We also owe a lot of our knowledge on Sheen to the inquisitive minds of investigative journalists, showbiz sleuths and, of course, the paparazzi.

It’s got to be the shirts

If you’re into Charlie Sheen stuff, it’s worth examining how he carries himself with those swanky shirts he dons. You’ve got to love how Sheen created a truly unique fashion statement that only his sense of style could make possible. Laid-back, two-toned shirts are all the rage when it comes to Sheen fashion. Man enough to be Charlie Sheen? Go grab a few of his shirts and see how it feels to be in his shirts.

Effortless humor

Have you seen the way he plays clueless as signalled by the way he squints his eye in his movies? And what about the way he picked that poor chicken as he ran out of arrows for his bow in the hit comedy flick Hot Shots 2? From endless wise-cracking monologues to facial contortions, no one makes you fall right out of your chair as effortlessly as Charlie Sheen can.

A true actor by nature

Charlie Sheen is not all comedy. He captured the hearts of millions when he pulled off a critically acclaimed role in the movie Platoon as a newly recruited American soldier sent to Vietnam. His character was faced with various conflicts from all sides, from within and without. Who could also forget the greed that emanated in Sheen’s character in the movie Wall Street?

True, there is more to the person than his fashion statements and the roles he has played in movies and on TV. But one doesn’t need to dig deep into Charlie Sheen’s life just to try and mimic the guy. Just imitating the things he is widely known for on and off screen, including his excellent sartorial habits, will suffice.

Sure, he had his share of controversies in the past. Even of late, his recent antic that only the brilliance of Charlie Sheen could make possible had critics babble endlessly on all angles.
But, through it all, Sheen is still best remembered for being one of the most versatile actors of all time. If one fan were to be asked who Charlie Sheen was, a response would almost always be along the lines of “…that guy from Two and a Half Men” or “…the lead actor for Navy Seals.” The number of different answers will serve to underline just how versatile Charlie is.

What’s your favorite Charlie Sheen Movie?

Since the ’80s, Charlie Sheen has become a household name. While he started his acting career, or showed interest in it, much earlier in his life, he appeared as the juvenile delinquent in a police station in the movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, a 1986 comedy starred in by Matthew Broderick. But his biggest break came when he was cast in the 1986 Oliver Stone hit movie Platoon. Sheen took on the role of a new recruit and served as the film’s narrator. The film was a huge success, and reflected the divided views of the Americans on the war on Vietnam.

Not just some actor

Later on, Sheen showed his prowess as a versatile actor when he teamed up once more with director Oliver Stone for one of the decade’s most critically acclaimed movies, Wall Street. Sheen starred as a budding stock trader eager to get ahead even through extra-legal means. (Sheen will be appearing in a cameo for Wall Street 2 due in 2010.)
Other favorite Charlie Sheen movies that fans can’t get enough of include the hit comedy films Hot Shots and Hot Shots 2, Major League, Money Talks and Scary Movie 3 and 4.

Over the years, Charlie Sheen’s versatility has captured the hearts of millions. With luck, he will stay on as one of the favorites even for today’s generation as more projects roll out for him.

The School Boy

Although he was a star on Santa Monica High School’s baseball team, the young Charlie wasn’t an especially distinguished student. However, it was during his school days that he developed an interest in filmmaking. He made amateur films starring his school friends, who by the way included Rob Lowe and Sean Penn.

Pursuing Acting

After leaving school, Charlie took a stab at an acting career just like his father Martin and brother Emilio. Charlie began his screen career in 1984 in the Cold War thriller Red Dawn. He got his big break in 1986 when he was cast as the soldier Chris in Oliver Stone’s Oscar-winning movie , Platoon.

After establishing himself as a solid dramatic actor in another Stone movie, Wall Street, Charlie showed his flair for comedy in the 1989 hit Major League – where he also showed off his pitching arm, and in the military film satire Hot Shots.

Acting Awards

Charlie slowly rose to fame, displaying a knack for action, comedy, and dramatic roles. He was cast in the leading role of the popular situation comedy Spin City and in 2003, he signed for an ongoing role in the popular TV comedy Two and a Half Men. It was his role here that got him well-deserved nominations in the Emmy and Golden Globe awards as a comedy actor. Today, Charlie’s awards include:

2007-2009 Emmy: Nominee, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series

2006 Emmy: Nominee, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series

2006 Golden Globe: Nominee, Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy

2005 Golden Globe: Nominee, Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy

2002 Golden Globe: Winner, Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy
