Sheen started acting in 1974 at the age of nine, appearing in a small role alongside his father in the television movie The Execution of Private Slovik. His film career began in 1984 with a role in the Cold War teen drama Red Dawn. Charlie had his first major role in the Vietnam War drama Platoon in 1986. His bad boy behavior, however, is rumored to have started long before then, as he was expelled from high school just weeks before graduation for a combination of poor grades and a tendency to not show up.

In 2009, Charlie Sheen was arrested on charges of domestic violence, including second-degree assault and menacing, against his wife Brooke Mueller.

The son of actor Martin Sheen of Apocalypse Now fame, Charlie, a Virgo, has reportedly cleaned up his bad boy/playboy image after ending his marriage with former Bond Girl Denise Richards, an Aquarius.

Now that he’s married to Brooke Mueller, and has recently had twin boys named Max and Bob, Charlie is now more focused on being a daddy and loving husband to Brooke. Now the father of five (he has two daughters with ex-wife Denise Richards and a 23-year-old daughter from a previous relationship), Charlie seems to finally want to settle down and spend quality time with his family.

For several weeks since it was first reported around the first week of September, Sheen’s fictional 20-minute conversation with the US President played out in the news quite prominently. Although the matter has been widely accepted as fictional, the transcript of the “conversation” reflects the true sentiments of Sheen concerning the controversies that surround 9/11.

In the fictional meeting with the President, Sheen argues that the official story on 9/11 is a fraud, alleging that the event was perpetrated and covered up by the Bush administration as a prelude to justify the war and the subsequent invasion of Iraq. He even hinted that Osama bin Laden used to work with the US government until the fateful day of 9/11.
Sheen implored Obama to re-open the investigation on the 9/11 attack as he believes the original commission set up to investigate the event was a whitewash.

Since this controversy that Sheen has gotten himself into exploded, critics and fans hoped he would ease up on the issue as it is now taking a toll on his credibility. Even his ex-wife Denise Richards jumped in on the controversy to prove her allegations that Sheen is delusional.

Despite all this, you still have to give it to Sheen. Who else was bold enough to even conjure up a fictional face-to-face with the President to challenge the long-held “truth” about the 9/11 reports? It takes pure guts to stand up for what he believes is the truth, even if nothing substantial can come out of it.
